IT Team Lead

IT Team Lead

Full-Time (M-F 8:30-5:00) - Contract Term: 6-12 Months

Overview

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced IT Temporary Team Lead to oversee our IT operations for a period of 6 months. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of technicians, coordinating IT projects, and ensuring the smooth operation of our systems and services during this temporary assignment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of IT technicians, providing guidance, support, and direction to ensure successful completion of projects and tasks.
  • Coordinate and prioritize IT initiatives and projects according to business needs and objectives.
  • Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware, software, and network infrastructure.
  • Manage IT service requests and incidents, ensuring timely resolution and effective communication with stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with other departments to understand their IT requirements and provide solutions and support as needed.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for IT processes, procedures, and configurations.
  • Ensure monthly billing are accurate/ working with accounting department
  • Assist in recruiting, training, and onboarding temporary IT staff as required.
  • Serve as a point of escalation for technical issues and provide troubleshooting support as necessary.
  • Stay informed about emerging technologies and trends in the IT industry to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT roles, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory position.
  • Proven experience managing IT projects and teams, including resource allocation and budget management.
  • Strong technical skills in areas such as networking, systems administration.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on delivering results and driving continuous improvement.
  • Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, Cisco CCNA, or ITIL Foundation are a plus.
  • Flexibility to work outside regular business hours and travel as needed to support project requirements.

Web Designer / Developer

Web Designer / Developer

Temporary Full-Time (M-F 8:30-5:00) - Contract Term: 6 Months

Overview

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Web Designer/Developer to assist in our creative department for a period of 6 months, with the potential to develop into a permanent position once the contract term is complete.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Senior Designer with various design tasks such as website mockups, icon design, print & graphic design, etc.
  • Content updates and revisions
  • Ensure all web design layouts function properly across all browsers and on all devices
  • Design website mock-ups to reflect the tone and style of the client's business/brand
  • Produce designs and graphics for HTML email newsletters, mini-sites and social media marketing
  • Optimize and edit written content to ensure that it is clean, concise, and works with the overall vision & goals of the client
  • Ensure all designs produced deliver a great user experience

Key Skills / Experience

  • Ability to collaborate with the senior designer
  • Desire to be a team player & willing to learn
  • Competency in Adobe Creative Suite, primarily Photoshop, Illustrator, and Dreamweaver
  • A minimum of one year experience in designing / developing websites and printed material
  • A good understanding of HTML, CSS3, PHP and JavaScript
  • A strong portfolio that demonstrates a range of work and techniques
  • A passion for strong web design that delivers a great user experience
  • A good understanding of the latest web design trends
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Creativity & ability to think outside the box

Experience with the following would be an asset:

  • Responsive web design concepts and best practices
  • WordPress CMS
  • HTML5, MySQL, Ajax, JQuery, JSON, SASS
  • eCommerce / Google Ads / Search Engine Optimization
  • Search Engine Optimization (SEO) & General Online Marketing Duties
  • Proficient in using analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Google Tag Manager, Google API, Google AdWords, Semrush, Moz, and more
  • Expertise in using CMS (Content Management System) platforms such as WordPress, Drupal, and Joomla
  • Expertise in social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and more
